I've been scouring the local second-hand shops for some nice, vintage pieces, and this pretty mint colour - which is typically mid-century - caught my eye. The pots were being sold individually, and separately from the cups and saucers.
The basket is my own. I just used it for this photograph because it somehow looked cute.
Anyway... after getting them home and cleaning them up, I set about doing my usual research.
The stamp beneath each piece told me that they were made by Poole Pottery, England.
Further research taught me that the colour is often referred to as twin-tone and this particular colour is described as Seagull and Ice Green, which I absolutely love! The outer colour - the "seagull" is a kind of dapple grey - which is difficult to make out in these photos - so I get why it was called Seagull.
The set consists of this beautifully shaped coffee pot...
This water pot...
and six cups with saucers...
